Why not add a whole host of converters such as Image to PDF (as opposed to just JPG), PDF to image, Text to PDF, PDF to Text etc......

It’s typical of these developers to release just one type of converter when users would want to convert lots of different types and be able to reverse convert. To purchase converters for each type would cost a fortune. The developer...

Include a text editor that enables you to add text and select a wide variety of fonts(including Chinesw, Japanese, east Asian and Arabic) and size of fonts once conversion has been carried out.

You should also include other tools such as bold lettering, being able to adjust the text so that it was centralized or starting from the right (useful for Arabic languages) or the top down (Chinese), bullet points and text boxes etc.

Explain what the difference between DCT-JPEG Compression and LZW compression are in the help menu.

Novice users wouldn't know which to choose, so an explanation should be included.

Include more page sizes.

You could include one of those pictorial lists that you get with printers these days.

Uncheck the create a quick start shorcut from the installation wizard. It's checked by default

Not everyone likes quickstart shortcuts. so it should be unchecked by default.

Create a help menu that's installed with the program, not force users to go to your site for help.

What if I require help while offline? This isn't acceptable.

Include a network facility so that it could be accessed from a central computer on my network without having to install it onto all of my computers.

As with a portable version, you'd be able to save on system resources on all but the host computer.

Is the $10 reduction of the developers site a permanent reduction (from $29.99 to $19.99) or just a limmited sale?

If it's the latter make it permanent because almost $30 is far too much to pay for such a limited software.

You call this a JPG to PDF converter yt it converts a whole host of image types

Change the name to Image to PDF converter or universal image converter to PDF - you are underselling yourself by calling it JPG only.

There are too many web based applications which already do this. You could consider implementing some features unique to your application, not commonly found online - like batch watermarking, bookmarking, hyperlinking etc.

consider changing the name to Pic to PDF Converter as this does not really convert JPG format only but supports other picture formats as weel

People who find such this "JPG to PDF Converter" name may get mislead.

Include a selection of different skins for the user to choose from

Even if it was just color changes this would improve the ability of the user to match it in with the windows scheme. Different designs for the user interface would be nice as well. Make it so that users could design their own and share them...

have a possibility to set the compression options on JPG, options to rotate and resize pictures and maybe change bit depth if needed and why the heck does a 300mb of pictures make a 800 mb pdf?
